Dana launched numerous drive and motion technologies for electrified vehicles across three exhibition stands last week at Bauma, the world’s largest construction and mining trade show
At a press conference attended by global industry editors on last Wednesday, Dana executives announced a collaboration with JLG to develop an advanced Spicer® Electrified™ e-Axle for next-generation aerial work platforms (AWPs). Other customers at Bauma debuting new construction machines featuring products from Dana include Zoomlion, Link-Belt, and Mecalac.
Dana also showcased our portfolio of market-ready Spicer® Electrified™, Brevini® Electrified™, and other technologies that support electrification through outdoor demonstrations of a mid-sized AWP and a mini excavator.

This is the first show for Dana to present our comprehensive selection of organically developed and strategically acquired products, which are offered under the Spicer®, Brevini®, TM4®, SME®, Graziano®, Fairfield®, Ashwoods®, and Vocis® brands.

Dana also demonstrated the ongoing development of technologies for conventional diesel-powered machinery, such as the Spicer® TE50 powershift transmission designed for large load haul dumpers, trucks used in underground mining, as well as wheel loaders.

Nearly 600,000 visitors attended Bauma during the week.
